The Smoking Hearts debut album was awarded 8/10 in this weeks NME, described as kicking “more ass than a Steven Seagal highlight reel.” We couldn’t agree more.

The Smoking Hearts‘ debut album was released this Monday and reviews have been appearing online. Some great write-ups on the likes of Contact Music, Subba-Cultcha, Clink, Uber Rock and Sound Screen have been the icing on the cake for this campaign.

Alberta Cross were awarded 4 stars in the Daily Mirror today for their new single, Old Man Chicago. Yet more praise for their “ragged harmonies and Whiskey sour’d guitars.”

North Atlantic Oscillation have introducing features in this month’s issues of Rock Sound and The Fly, marked out as ones to watch for the coming year. Or, to quote The Fly, “the forecast looks good for North Atlantic Oscillation.”
