The Dublin alt-rocker trio Fight Like Apes have already garnered a reputation for their raucous on stage antics and quirky track titles from the blogsphere to national music press alike. Their most recent album is named ‘The Body Of Christ And the Legs Of Tina Turner’ with tracks including ‘Ice Cream Apple Fuck’ and ‘Pull Off Your Arms And Lets Play In Your Blood’. This long player certainly lives up to expectations!

Low Level Flight

Toronto’s Low Level Flight released their album ‘Through These Walls‘ in 2011, joining the Division roster with a bang following live shows in London and Cambridge. Hook-laden tunes abound on their tracks, making it no surprise that they gained many new fans in the UK.

Having gained two Top 40 singles in their homeland, the band pushed their way across the globe, bringing to mind the atmospheric flare of Interpol and Muse. Travelling as far afield as India, Low Level Flight are a band on the rise and the UK is lucky to be getting both barrels.

Slaves To Gravity

Slaves To Gravity, who shot to prominence in the UK Rock scene with their debut album ‘Scatter The Crow‘ joined Division for online press on their album ‘Underwaterouterspace‘. Gaining support Stateside thanks in no small part to their hard work ethic and endless touring, the band started to work on the new album.

Sharing the stage with the likes of Buckcherry, Lacuna Coil and Papa Roach, Slaves To Gravity have never looked overawed and have continued to pave the way for other British Rock groups that came after them.

The Silent Years

Formed in in Detroit in late 2005, The Silent Years joined the Division family for the release of their album ‘The Globe‘. With influences ranging from Arcade Fire to The Shins and British Sea Power, they are certainly a band to capture the imagination, with Spin Magazine naming them ‘Unsigned Artists of the Year’ in 2007.

Having toured the UK to much acclaim, the band’s four core members are often joined by a large number of others and it has been known that the group has 18 musicians on stage for their live show. The Silent Years are a band going places and music fans on these shores have certainly jumped aboard.

Lower Than Atlantis

Lower Than Atlantis became one of the hottest names in British Rock over 2011, with radio play on Radio 1 and beyond as well as supports for Asking Alexandria and touring the UK with We Are The Ocean.

With support coming from fire and wide, the band’s single ‘Deadliest Catch‘ proved a big hit and set them up for the release of their second album ‘World Record‘ which won acclaim across the board.

Top Buzzer

Top Buzzer joined Division for the release of their debut album ‘Outside Is A World‘ released on their own Back2Fowards Records. Focussing on the country they live in, the band don’t dwell on the misery that a lot of band’s sing about, instead urging listeners to go out and explore.

Described as an antidote to “Britain’s coalition hangover”, the band have toured the album across Europe, the States and even Russia, where they supported Primal Scream and have played at SXSW and shared stages with NOFX, Alexisonfire, Goldfinger and Babyshambles to name but a few.

Middle Class Rut

Despite only being a duo, Middle Class Rut have wowed music fans with a noise that conjures images of a much larger band. Their album ‘No Name No Colour‘ created a stir upon its release as a result and stood the band in good stead for the years to come.

The band’s ability to blend heavy elements with melodic breaks is immediately apparent and their mixing of complex yet catchy songs is a big reason for their success with the album. With music like that behind them, it came as no surprise that they toured with the likes of …And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, Them Crooked Vultures and The Bronx.

Evaline

Evaline released their debut album ‘Woven Material‘ on Riverman Reocrds to much critical acclaim. Having supported the likes of Placebo, The Deftones, Young Guns and Dredg over the year, the band wowed audiences and critics alike with their SXSW showcase.

Following it up with UK dates, a support slot for My Chemical Romance at the iTunes festival and a set at Download that kicked the festival off in style, the band are certainly ones to watch. With backing on the likes of XFM and NME Radio, it won’t be long before Evaline are a band on everyone’s lips.

Evaline have just played a series of high profile gigs including a support slot with My Chemical Romance at the iTunes festival and a slot on Hard Rock Calling. The single ‘There There’ has been picked as the UK iTunes Single of The Week on 19th July. The track was mixed by Adrian Bushby and is already getting airplay from XFM and NME radio.
‘Woven Material’ is released on Riverman Records and available on iTunes and in all good record stores from 25th July.

Set Your Goals

Bay Area’s Set Your Goals joined Division for the release of their latest album ‘Burning At Both Ends‘, released through Epitaph Records. Both dynamic and infectious, the energy levels of the band never drop, evident both in their studio recordings and their live shows.

Combining gang vocals, power riffs and sing-a-long choruses, Set Your Goals are a band that implore people to move their feet and with their UK tour behind them, that was the key to the enjoyment, whether in a club venue or at Slam Dunk Festival.

Dangerous!

Australian garage rockers Dangerous! hit the ground running in 2011 with their debut album ‘Teenage Rampage‘ being released on legendary punk label Epitaph. A band that genuinely embodies rock n’ roll’s raucous spirit, the young band are more vital now than ever.

Having already graced the stages of Download and Sonisphere, the sky is the limit for the four-piece and it’s no wonder that Grammy nominated producer Ulrich Wild decided to take the boards for the debut album. You want a party to rock? This is the band to invite.
