Eyedea & Abilities are back after a five year hiatus to release their new album By The Throat on Rhymesayers Entertainment and once again have defied the obvious and thrown a major spanner into the works of people who thought they would follow the sound of their previous album E&A.
Having both been battle winners in their own worlds Eyedea winning Scribble Jam and Blaze Battle for MCs and Abilities winning numerous turntable titles the duo showcase their ability to not only be the best at what they do, but also embrace that which isnt expected, throwing sharp turns everywhere they can.
The heavy production, coupled with turntables with wah-wah pedals and breathless delivery from the rapper, provides the perfect example of why this group are going places. Joining Division for print and online press, E&A will be tearing up the rulebook in 2009.
