Radkey debut new video with The Guardian

RADKEY-GLORE_web

Five stop-motion animators, 435 bars of clay and two bottles of factor 50 suncream. It took ten weeks of seriously hard work from Blinkink to complete Radkey’s incredible new two minute Claymation video for ‘Glore’.

Directed by Nicos Livesey for Channel 4’s revised Random Acts strand, this psychedelic, mind-bending, face-melting visual trip will be coming to our TV screens soon, morphing the world of what Radkey love and hate. It’s made up of a combination of influences, from Celebrity Death Match, Jackass to Beavis and Butthead, with Radkey’s unique, 100mph raging hardcore as the soundtrack.

‘Glore’ is a track which will make you “wanna run around drinking beer and throwing up Haribo” according to Livesey, so he thought he’d better visualise that feeling for the video… and oh man does it have that vibe!

We are stoked to welcome Bristol’s IDLES to the roster today. Premièring as The Line Of Best Fit‘s Song Of The Day, IDLES detail their MEAT EP for an October 30th release with a preview of their Monks indebted ‘The Idles Chant’ video.

After taking a hiatus from the live scene since the success of their debut EP, Welcome, the band aptly describe how they took the time out to perfect their writing process and, “bleed out a shit tonne of songs that we’re truly proud of.” The result is four tracks of tight, unapologetic, primitive post-punk that pummels hard and strikes to the throat.
