Essentially the creation of Justin Lockey (ex Yourcodenameis:Milo) and Craig Pilbin, White Belt Yellow Tag formed in 2008 with the two meeting for the first time in Newcastle. Lockey had built up a reputation as one of the UKs leading new band producers having worked with White Lies, Late Of The Pier and Get Cape Wear Cape Fly and the pair met when Pilbin was looking for someone to work with on a number songs he had written.
