Daniel Merriweather joined Division at the start of 2009 and together weve seen his rise from promising singer to bonafide solo star. After having seen firsthand what Daniel could do whilst we were working on Mark Ronsons Version album, we knew he wouldnt find it hard to step up to the plate on his own material.
His debut single Change set everything up nicely, bringing in acclaim from hip hop and pop fans alike before the ballad Red marked the big time for the Australian, climbing to number two in the charts and staying in the top five for over a month.
His album Love & War was also a massive success, reaching number two in charts and shipping over 200,000 units. With mainstream coverage now a guarantee, were happy to have been part of Daniels rise to stardom from the very beginning.
