Longwave

These epic indie rock aficionados are bringing their New York sound to UK shores again. Having toured with the likes of The Strokes and The Vines, Longwave are back on the attack with new material which they plan on releasing independently having broken free from the world of major labels. This as-yet-untitled new album will be following up the critically acclaimed The Strangest Things and There’s A Fire and sees the quartet expanding on their trademark sound of atmospheric guitars and angular rhythms into a whole new world of epic melody.

The band visit the UK in May to play some shows. Early support from this online campaign has come from MySpace with a download feature. Look out for Sirens of the Deep Sea and No Direction as these 2 songs should hit the radio airwaves once record releases are scheduled. Hear them here.
